This guide will teach you the basics of fishing, anyone can become a fisher, it's very simple to learn.

Fishing

Getting started

To start fishing, you firstly need to get a rod. Go into the Cubit Store and buy a fishing rod, they come in price ranges of 250Cubit.png Cubits to 10,000Cubit.png Cubits! You can also buy bait to shorten your fishing time and get rarer fish.

Please Note: You don't need bait to fish!

Casting Your Rod

Great, you got your rod, now to cast it, all you need to do is hold down your wand button, you will be prompted with a menu that has a red bar filling it up, and a yellow and green line on it. Let go of your wand button when you are satisfied with where the catch will be. If you hold onto the wand button for too long, you would have to recast the Rod and try again.

  • Letting go early gives no bonuses, and is just a normal cast.
  • The "yellow" line means you did a good cast and will have to wait less time to catch your fish.
  • The "green" line means you did a perfect cast and will have to wait even less time to catch your fish.

Waiting

Now that you have cast your rod, you will notice a little menu with a fishhook bobbing up and down. Once a yellow File:Warning.png appears, hold your wand button and you will be prompted with a menu to catch a fish!

Reeling in the Fish

This is it! You are about to catch a fish, just make sure that the line doesn't get too red, if you hold on for too long, the line will break and you will have to cast your rod again. If you see a red line, let go of the line, don't worry about the fish running away. If you see the fish running away, that is fine, once the line isn't red continue to reel it in until you finally catch it!

  • If your line is still red after letting the fish free, continue to let it free and reel it in until the line isn't red anymore.

Loot

There are many things you can catch from fishing, junk, rares, and most obvious, Fish!
