Mountain Grass is a naturally spawned basic decorative building block that cannot be used for crafting anything (except Half Mountain Grass). There are two variations of texture of Mountain Grass block shown in item preview. Their texture changes randomly between those two options each time it is built. There are also Tropical Grass and Grass blocks that are similar to Mountain Grass blocks. One cannot craft a String by using Mountain Grass like Tropical Grass and Grass but it can be used as Half Mountain Grass to make Half Mountain Grass towers in Free Builds to level up Qbees or Pets. Also perfect for making forest glades, swamps, hills, cursed creepy lands, adventure realms and maybe gardens. You may also use it in a mixture of Tropical Grass and Grass blocks. However, its generally not as functional, valuable, craftable and preferable as Tropical Grass and Grass unless its especially required...
How to obtain
Mountain Grass blocks are widely available in Mountain Mines and Arctic Mines as well as player-bought arctic and mountain Rooms and Realms, or if you are lucky you can also find them in Free Builds ! One can generally and naturally find these blocks on surface layers of mountains ground or surface layers of mines, but some can also be found under ground layer of mines near gold or silver ores in Mountain Mines and Arctic Mines. No perk is required to mine them. Mining them directly will also let you to collect some plants like Ferns, Flowers and Mushrooms on grass blocks.
